Policy Manager 

Courtney (she/her), joined the MHP team in the fall of 2025, bringing with her years of experience in community organizing, campaigns, elections, and policy making. She was a life-long North Dakotan before moving to Minnesota to complete her Master of Public Affairs degree at the Humphrey School as part of her 2021 Bush Fellowship award. As Policy Manager, Courtney will put to good use the lessons learned and relationships built in her time working for the Minnesota State Senate and the Housing and Homelessness Prevention Committee. In addition to her passion for participatory democracy, Courtney enjoys time with her partner and two cats, Tickles and Monti, hiking, camping, biking, and live music.
