Project description:

Goodhue County Habitat for Humanity’s first homes in their HOPE Heights development! This townhome will be constructed with ICF blocks for energy efficiency, sound control, and fire resistance. Each home will have a garage and at least one bedroom, a bathroom and laundry on the main floor for long-term accessibility. GCHFH serves as the general contractor and works with volunteers to perform most of the construction. Qualified subcontractors are utilized for more technical aspects of home construction, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC and roofing. GCHFH will sell the homes to deserving families who will assist with construction of their home and receive homeownership and financial training. GCHFH provides homeownership opportunities to families in the 30-80% AMI range for Goodhue County, providing those with need the benefits of homeownership.
