Project description:
Goldenrod Glen is a 74-unit new construction project for residents 55 and above in Big Lake, MN. The project is 4 stories tall, features heated underground parking and a wealth of community amenities, including a community room and library, communal kitchen, fitness space, and outdoor recreation space with garden beds for residents. 64 units are affordable at 50% of area median income, with 10 units reserved for high priority homeless individuals affordable at 30% AMI with supportive services provided by Tri-CAP.
Goldenrod Glen opened to residents at the end of 2024, and is now operational and fully leased. The project was funded with Low-income Housing Tax Credits and Housing Infrastructure Bonds from Minnesota Housing, as well as a organizational contribution from Aeon.
