Technical Assistance
The Minnesota Housing Partnership’s (MHP) technical assistance supports and strengthens organizational knowledge and competency in the development of affordable housing. This assistance can be utilized at multiple stages of housing development, from the application phase, through project development and on an ongoing basis, including compliance. MHP’s technical assistance serves public entities such as counties, cities, townships, Housing and Redevelopment Authorities, Community Action Programs, nonprofit organizations, Community Development Corporations, and HUD-funded recipients.
As a national technical assistance provider, MHP staff has a wealth of experience working with federal, state, and local funders to create, and preserve affordable housing choices. MHP provides group trainings and/or one-on-one technical assistance to help organizations build and strengthen staff skills, access resources, and create solutions tailored to meet local housing needs.
